EOS gains 510(k) clearance for advanced 3D imaging technology

The FDA has cleared EOS Imaging to market version 1.5 of its sterEOS software for 3D X-ray imaging. The updated version features 3D modeling of severe scoliosis as well as new capabilities for measuring the position of hip implant components to enable surgery control and modification, according to the company.
