Lantheus enters isotope supply deal with IRE

Belgium's Institute for Radioelements agreed to a five-year deal to provide Lantheus Medical Imaging with molybdenum-99. The supplied isotope will be used in Lantheus' TechneLite technetium-99 generators. Lantheus said the IRE is in the process of modifying its isotope production method to be able to use low-enriched uranium.
