New fashion line focuses on post-mastectomy women

After being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing a double mastectomy, Laurel Kamen launched a fashion business aimed at women who have had the disease. The Alloro fashion line is designed to flatter the figures of post-mastectomy patients, accommodate their range of motion limitations and cater to the physical post-surgical issues that breast cancer survivors face. The clothing was created to be appropriate for women who wear breast prostheses, those who opt for reconstruction surgery or those who choose nothing.
