Digital tool engages students, offers instant feedback

Lessons loaded onto a PDA or laptop aim to close the gap between paper-based teaching and digital-based students. Students who complete homework, take exams or review lesson notes on the software seem to be hooked: one Texas district increased attendance and had fewer discipline problems just a few weeks after launching the system.
