Students who enroll in a new private Colorado elementary school expected to open in the fall will learn at least three languages as part of a program to immerse them in language and culture. Students will learn English and Spanish and choose Arabic or Mandarin Chinese as a third language. When learning to write and speak a language, students also will learn about culture. For example, students who learn Chinese characters and sounds will also practice Tai Chi and calligraphy.
