Baseball teams keep setting new records for TV rights

The Los Angeles Dodgers could claim a record $3.5 billion over 20 years for TV rights when the team negotiates a new cable deal. The Houston Astros, with a deal worth $3.2 billion over 20 years with Comcast SportsNet, currently have the biggest TV contract in baseball, followed by the Texas Rangers, whose $3 billion, 20-year deal with Fox Sports Southwest starts in 2015.
