Forecast: $35 billion in local digital-ad spending by 2015

BIA/Kelsey adjusted its outlook for local digital-ad revenue down for 2015 to $35 billion. The announcement comes as November numbers indicate the 2011 local digital spend totaled about $21.2 billion, rather than the $23.3 billion BIA/Kelsey previously forecast. The firm attributed the revision to a bad economy and increased competition.
