How will Google's fiber network affect the broadband market?

Time Warner Cable says it isn't concerned about the possibility that Google will launch a high-speed fiber network in the Kansas City, Mo., market that could offer Internet speeds 100 times faster than the national average for broadband. "As far as Google, it's all speculation at this point. This is a product that doesn't exist on a network that doesn't exist," said Time Warner Cable spokeswoman Marci Pelzer.
