Local advertisers are going digital

Local marketers are set to spend more on digital and mobile advertising, according to a BIA/Kelsey forecast. The overall local ad business will grow by only about 1% through 2016, the forecast predicts, but spending on local digital advertising will grow from $21.2 billion to $38.5 billion.
