Lawmakers oppose TSA knife policy

More than 100 House members have signed on to a letter going to the Transportation Security Administration opposing its policy change allowing small knives to be carried by airline passengers. "The decision to lift the ban on knives was done without consulting any key stakeholders -- like members of Congress, flight attendants, and air marshals and the general public," said Rep. Michael Grimm, R-N.Y., who co-sponsored legislation to stop the TSA policy change. "I don’t know which is more idiotic -- the policy or the process."
