Reserve chiefs discuss legislative priorities

The leaders of the Reserve and National Guard each outlined their top three priorities at a meeting last week with House representatives. Lt. Gen. James Jackson, chief of the Air Force Reserve, urged lawmakers to address the lack of funding for civilians employed by the Reserve, many of whom are dual-status reservists. He also cited National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account funds as crucial to the Air Force Reserve's modernization efforts.
