A Senate Judiciary Committee hearing weighed the privacy concerns for UAVs after a group of organizations submitted a petition to halt U.S. Customs and Border Protection from flying unmanned aerial vehicles. "Before we allow widespread commercial use of drones in the domestic airspace, we need to carefully consider the impact on the privacy rights of Americans," said Sen. Patrick J. Leahy, D-Vt.
