Study: Women with hysterectomies at higher risk for heart issues

A new study indicates women who have had a hysterectomy tend to be at an increased risk for cardiovascular disease. The cause, however, is not believed to stem from the hysterectomy itself, but from the tendency of women needing the procedure to be predisposed to heart problems before surgery.
