Grant to help Calif. nursing grads who can't find jobs

The California Institute for Nursing & Health Care will use a $500,000 grant for its RN Transition Program, which helps nurse graduates who haven't been able to find jobs. The program will provide 250 nurses with a post-licensure internship in an acute or non-acute clinical setting to help them keep their skills current and expand their clinical experiences.
