Cosmetic surgery demand rises in 2011

Demand for cosmetic surgery was up 1% in 2011 over 2010, while demand for minimally invasive procedures such as Botox fell about 2%, according to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Job competition and the desire for longer-lasting results drove the trend, says ASAPS President Dr. Jeffrey Kenkel.
