E-mail tops B2B lead generation, social shows promise, marketers say

E-mail continues to be the greatest source of lead generation for business-to-business, say marketers and and agencies -- though agencies are more bullish on the channel than marketers are, according to a BtoB Magazine study. Agencies also take a better view of paid search and social media. More than half of the respondents say they feel social media has potential, but most say it's not a mature field yet.
