Nvidia's Tegra chip could be its main business in 7 years

If Nvidia can capture 10% of the smartphone and tablet market with its dual-core Tegra 2 processors, the company could generate $3.4 billion in revenues, according to this analysis, which points out that the chips currently generate only one-fourth of the revenue that Nvidia's main GPU business does. If successful, this blog post predicts, Nvidia's chip could be its main moneymaker in seven years.
