Getting the most out of the common core

Two paths are emerging in the implementation of the Common Core State Standards, suggest Ken Kay, CEO of EdLeader21, and Bob Lenz, CEO of Envision Education. In this commentary, they write that with one path, the common core begins to look like just another set of standards and assessments, and with the other path, it is used to transform teaching and learning.
