KeyBank raises the bar for small-business bankers

KeyBank is seeking to meet increasingly complex needs of small-business customers by raising standards for bankers. To earn the title "business relationship manager," bankers must complete online classes covering topics such as lending and cash management and participate in other training. "We aren't just sending people out there," said Maria Coyne, executive vice president and branch-network executive. "These will be real experts."
