Will NBC, Leno take programming cues from affiliates' viewer survey?

NBC affiliates, which reportedly were divided on whether Jay Leno should shift to the 10 p.m. time slot because of concerns on the impact on their late-night local newscasts, have commissioned a viewer survey to help identify elements in Leno's new show that would help keep viewers tuned in for the news.
