Credit crunch might still be ahead for small business

Small businesses are far more concerned with lagging sales than taking on more debt, leaving some observers to speculate that a worse credit crunch might develop once demand for loans resumes. Raj Date of the Cambridge Winter Center for Financial Institutions Policy warned Congress that there might not be enough lending to satisfy demand.
