Educators team up to provide training in Oklahoma

Teachers in Oklahoma's Norman Public Schools district attended a professional-development conference at three district schools called "Gaining Excellence in Teaching Through Focused Instructional Tools." Teachers and professors from the University of Oklahoma's College of Education provided training, which drew more than 1,000 teachers and administrators, to workshops on classroom technology, education trends, stress management and other topics.
