What role should computer games play in classroom learning?

Educational technology can enhance learning in many ways, but some educators say computers are no replacement for human interaction. Fifth-grade teacher Jenny Kavanaugh, for example, says she has had students who appear to have mastered a math skill on a computer, but they are unable to explain the math concept and don't fully understand how and why that skill is applied.
