Philadelphia ready for taller skyscrapers

One Liberty Place stood as the tallest building in Philadelphia for 20 years, but it was overtaken last year by the 975-foot Comcast Tower, and with stiff competition to build ever-higher skyscrapers, it's unlikely that will be the tallest building for long. Developers are already proposing a 1,500-foot skyscraper, and Philadelphia residents and officials seem to welcome the plans.
