Decisions by Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and other countries to build nuclear plants in the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi incident in Japan are an indication that nuclear is here to stay, observers say. "It's alive. Fukushima is passé. Nobody is writing for it on a daily basis, so it's gone," said Yanko Yanev, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency's nuclear knowledge management unit.
