Philadelphia college students launch 2 software companies

Three students at the University of Pennsylvania have teamed up on two software products. The first, called Airtime, allows companies to use banners in their e-mail signatures; the second, Firefly, provides a screen-sharing service for customer-service purposes. The entrepreneurs have received $20,000 from a program called Dorm Room Fund, and the money will be put toward customer acquisition.
