Rural telecoms boost adoption of FTTH and FTTN, survey finds

While copper loops still account for most broadband connections in rural communities, almost three-quarters of rural telecoms say they have deployed fiber-to-the-home technology, up from 64% in an earlier survey. Nearly half of the survey respondents report they are using fiber-to-the-neighborhood technology for broadband access.
