John Skretta, superintendent of Norris Public Schools in Nebraska, was one of six people to participate in a recent call-in program with first lady Michelle Obama, in which she launched her "Let's Move! Active Schools" initiative. About 250 school leaders called into the program to learn more about the initiative -- focused on boosting physical activity in schools. During the call, Skretta revealed that, in his district, schools broadcast music at times during the day and get students moving on walking paths and in before- and after-school programs.
