UK's independent schools take lead in character education

To be successful in the workplace, today's students must learn 21st-century skills, such as motivation, communication, collaboration and leadership, according to some business leaders and educators in the United Kingdom. Now, the country's independent schools -- which typically have more autonomy than state-run schools -- are stepping in to teach such lessons and focus more on "character building".
