Declining enrolment affects teaching jobs in Ontario

Declining student enrolment has led many Ontario districts to consider school closures, leaving few teaching jobs in the Canadian province. One district is only replacing retiring school teachers and offering many part-time employment. "The majority of the people we're hiring in either elementary or secondary are into partial contracts," one official said.
