Allscripts withdraws EHR suit against NYC delivery system

A lawsuit against New York City Health and Hospitals brought by Allscripts Healthcare Solutions in December has been dropped. Allscripts filed the suit after New York City Health and Hospitals awarded Epic Systems an EHR contract worth more than $300 million. Allscripts alleged that the award was not based on fair competition and that a reasonable basis for the decision was not provided.
