Amtrak is slated to receive around $1.3 billion given the recent approval by Congress of a spending plan for the rest of fiscal 2013. Meanwhile, the railroad reached a deal with Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett to continue the "Pennsylvanian" service.
