Call for revised HIT framework gets a boost at House hearing

The Health IT Now Coalition has expressed optimism that Congress will heed its calls to modify the current health IT framework, which Executive Director Joel White said is "outdated." During a House Energy & Commerce subcommittee hearing on health IT last week, Jim Bialick of the Newborn Coalition urged Congress to craft regulations that promote innovation while ensuring patient safety.
