Colo. hospital fixes outage, regains EHR access

Boulder Community Hospital in Colorado, which had been without access to its EHRs for nearly two weeks, had its system restored Friday. The problem was caused by a malfunction in a main server. During the downtime, the hospital used paper charts and kept records by hand. Patient data during an eight-hour period on March 12, the day of the outage, was lost, but the rest was recovered.
