Investors bolster single-family housing market

Investors are surging into the U.S. foreclosed single-family home market with an eye toward holding the properties and renting them out. Observers attribute their entry in part to the rebound in prices. "Whether they knew it or not, investors helped set a floor," said Lanny Baker, chief executive of ZipRealty.
