Mobile browsing continues to grow, stats show

The use of mobile Web browsers increased by 26% from November through February, and it nearly doubled in the previous 12 months and more than tripled in the previous 24 months, Web metrics firm Net Applications says. Apple's Safari accounted for 55.4% of mobile browsing in February, compared with 22.8% for the Android mobile browser and the Opera Mini's 12.7%, Net Applications says.
