Compelling video storytelling needn't be a collection of many disconnected pieces, but can instead be one prolonged shot if the imagery is telling, as journalist John Sharify has demonstrated with his award-winning work. It's a time-tested cinematic technique that eliminates transitions and can produce an experience "that you simply could not turn away from," he says.
