South Korea will vote for rights resolution on North Korea

A pending resolution at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva that expresses concerns over rights violations in North Korea will get South Korea's backing, a South Korean foreign ministry official said Wednesday. South Korea usually refrains from voting on UN resolutions on North Korea so as not to escalate tensions between the two neighbors.
