Study: iPad will be "transformational" for print industry

The iPad is set to refresh the flagging print industry with appealing, interactive ad formats and opportunities for location-based and behaviorally targeted ads, according to research by Frank N. Magid. He said consumers underscored the importance of opt-in advertising on the device, while ad buyers were enthusiastic about the tablet as a point of sale.
