Analysis: Medicaid expansion could help uninsured veterans

A significant percentage of veterans will become eligible for health care under the insurance exchanges and Medicaid expansion included as part of the Affordable Care Act, according to an analysis from the Urban Institute. Around 1.3 million veterans are currently uninsured, and as many as 40% of them may get coverage as a result of the changes.
