Buying is still less expensive than renting, Trulia finds

With a few exceptions, buying still comes out as the more affordable option compared with renting, even as home prices rise nationwide. That's according to real estate data company Trulia, which says that people who can qualify for a low-interest loan, aren't planning to move soon and will itemize deductions on their tax returns would be better off buying.
