Damage from temporary tattoos can be permanent, FDA warns

Temporary black henna tattoos might be made with a dye containing p-phenylenediamine can lead to dangerous reactions, including blisters, weeping lesions, loss of color, photosensitivity and permanent scars, the FDA is warning. The dye is banned from cosmetics intended for the skin.
