Facebook adds threaded conversations, direct replies

Facebook is revamping the ways in which users can converse on brands' Pages, enabling features to allow threaded conversations and direct replies to individual comments. That should make it easier to conduct extended conversations, or to allow celebrities and others to engage in Q-and-A sessions with fans. The move is likely to increase engagement, but could make it harder to moderate comment threads, Ingrid Lunden writes.
