Launch-day loyalty program helps pizza chain build buzz

Atlanta-based chain Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint offers a loyalty program and giveaways during store launches to get people talking online with their friends about its pizza, says founder Matt Andrew. "[O]n the day of opening, we encourage our customers to thank us -- to give us a shout on Facebook. And then they just naturally do it anyway," he said.
