Lawn watering is a major issue during Texas drought

Droughts are causing a political battle in towns such as Wichita Falls, Texas, which is expected to run out of water in the next few months if residents do not alter their water use. As the Texas Senate considers legislation to curb over-watering of lawns or to encourage residents to adopt more native grasses, Texans who want to preserve their green lawns are speaking out.
