Microsoft's improved voice-assist speaks to developer trend

Microsoft's improved algorithm for voice-assist technology improves the word error rate by 12%. Microsoft will apply the technology to improving the Bing mobile experience, and a number of application developers for enterprises such as Home Depot, YouTube and Taxi Locator are building voice search into their applications. Google is also working on natural-language voice recognition and will introduce it to applications for the desktop and the cloud.
