OPAF sponsors scuba diving class for amputees

Amputees in Ohio were able to take an introductory class in scuba diving as part of an outreach program called First Dive!, sponsored by OPAF. Dayton was one of eight cities in the United States to take part in the Amputee Coalition of America's Limb Loss Education Day. "First Clinics offer adaptive recreation instruction at an introductory level, as well as a vital social opportunity for amputees and their family members to meet and share the experience," said OPAF Executive Director Robin Burton.
