Ore. chef, dietitian helps schools make nutritious changes

Oregon chef and registered dietitian Garrett Berdan is helping school-nutrition professionals add more fruits and vegetables to lunch menus, using color and repetition to entice students to try new items. His sliders use turkey instead of beef and feature brown rice and colorful cranberries, baby spinach, onions and celery.
