Ore. teen with Down syndrome reaches new heights

Fifteen-year-old Eli Reimer, who has Down syndrome, has earned a place in the record books as the first individual with the disability to reach the Mount Everest base camp. "I hope that this encourages people to get the concept that we're all created uniquely and even though my son is disabled, he's still a gift to those around him," Justin Reimer said. "I think for Eli, it was just another fun day on the trail."
