Some state rules undermine Rx drug cost-saving tools

Certain state Medicaid programs pay above-average fees for dispensing prescription drugs, and some states are also working to prevent health insurers from using mail-service pharmacies and other proven cost-saving tools, a National Center for Policy Analysis report finds. "We have seen the drugstore lobby advocate for these proposals from coast to coast, but whose interests are they serving?" asks Edward Lawrence.
